Denise Plante from KOSI radio and 9NEWS Colorado & Company was Emcee of the 2010 Valentine's Fling. Along with Denise, the fabulous Nacho Men performed for about 275 guests who enjoyed the dancing, great food & drinks, Silent Auction, Live Auction, and the popular "Fish Bowl Raffles".
Over 150 very generous businesses, organizations and individuals donated products, goods, services and hotel and condo stays to The Fling.
The Live Auction, called by Denise Plante and Project Safeguards Bill Donovan,  featured an African Safari, Mazatlan & Las Vegas Condos, guest spots on both Channel 9 and Channel 2 news and weather, and even a walk on part in an upcoming Darla Rae movie being filmed in Denver brought in a record amount.
The Silent Auction featured many terrific packages at resort hotels around the country, a 50th Anniversary Bronco Football autographed by Rod Smith, a hockey stick autographed by the entire Colorado Avalanche team, mountain condos, and huge Wine Display package donated by the Project Safeguard Board of Directors
And the Fishbowl Raffles had over 30 items including Southwest Airline Tickets, The Nestle' Chocolate from Around the World Basket, Kids and Womens Packages.
The guests also enjoyed Psychic Readings from KOSI radios resident psychic Deb Sheppard and friends, photo portraits, and even massages.
This year we also had a jewelry booth made up of Jewelry generously donated  from the Estate of David Alvin's mom Dorothy.
  The Nacho Men have been entertaining audiences around the country for over 27 years. They are a variety, Dance and Show band featuring hits from Big Band Swing, Classic Rock, Disco and much, much more. The fun jumps off the stage and grabs the audience.
